We've been on electronic hiatus for the past few months...! This spring we decided to change up our newsletter to "flyer" style with highlights and host alllll details about ONYX Bodywear developments here on our new blog, so thank you for stopping by...
With COVID restrictions still in place where we are located, it has been tricky to get things done as effectively and efficiently as we'd like this year (such as testing out prototypes on several different people!). Also, trade shows or events have been cancelled or postponed, so we've been unable to get the loads of customer feedback that we typically acquire every few months which help inform our design process. This all being said, we've implemented some work arounds (*fingers crossed*) and are grateful to have had such an [unexpectedly!] busy 2021.

Spring means colours!
We recently completed our first wholesale product in colour: FUSCIA. In collaboration with Forever Yours Lingerie based in Langley, BC, the products will be available next month exclusively in their shops and on their website. If you don't know Forever Yours, they are THE BEST bra fitting experts, carry an excellent selection of lingerie and lounge wear, and have amazing customer service. They won Best Lingerie Shop in Canada in 2019!
Retail partners
Retail partners are where you can touch and feel our gear and also get access to other wardrobe options to complement our apparel. We're excited to be working with some new and *kinda-new* retail partners. You can now find our products at Womyn's Ware here in Vancouver, BC (their sister shop who used to sell our products, Your Open Closet, closed last year during COVID). Womyn's Ware is a Vancouver institution on all things related to sexual health and wellness and have been around since 1995. We're thrilled to welcome our new partners Her UnderThings in Albany, New York and Misty in Reykjavík, Iceland.
Artists we love
Every connection leads to more inspiration: Verna Brown is a local artist who just blows us away. She completed the infamous "breast wall" at the shop at Forever Yours Lingerie in Langley showing how breasts come in ALL shapes and sizes as well as some murals on their building (see below). She also specializes in captivating pet and animal portraits. Give her website a visit if you are looking for a thoughtful gift for any animal lovers in your life!
